Our family started out showing cows with the 4-H club here in Colorado. Our oldest son won a beautiful cow whom he later named Willowmina. She is still around and milking today just like she did in her Golden-years (whether we want her to retire or not!). From there the herd only grew, we now have multiple generations of Holstein, Brown Swiss, and Jersey cows. The Jerseys are our newest addition to the herd after we bought Johnson Acres from a retiring dairy farmer in Boulder County. Because of him, we were able to start Torena Farms and continue serving his customers with our cow's delicious milk! Right now we are looking for more customers to allow us to continue following our dream.
